Definition

A non-sterile syringe designed for the administration of oral medicines or liquids in oral form.

The syringe tip is designed to fit enteral administration devices only. It is incompatible with Luer connections or intravenous devices.

The barrel is coloured to distinguish it from syringes intended for the connection to infusion or injection devices.
