Definition

MamaBirthie is a realistic simulator designed for childbirth training. It can be used to learn the techniques and skills needed to manage childbirth at all stages of labour. It also helps trainees acquire the skills needed to identify and assess the risks of complications, such as breech presentation, cord prolapse, partial retention, etc.

Enable realistic practice for skills such as:

  • Abdominal and vaginal examinations
  • Normal birth
  • Shoulder dystocia
  • Vaginal breech
  • Cesarean section
  • Abdominal suturing (i.e. B-Lynch suture for postpartum hemorrhage)
  • Identification of abdominal tissue
